Smell-good Apartment
Nothing better than a great smelling apartment! Here are some good ideas to keep your apartment smelling good:
You could go with the normal Febreeze room spray or a good smelling candle, but why not try out a Scentsy? They have some gorgeous great looking wax warmers that keep your whole apartment smelling amazing! They have plenty of scentsy to choose from and the best part is we have a representative right here in our office! Call us if you are interested! 913-685-3700
Need a cheap alternative? This next idea comes from one of our residents! Tape dryer sheets under your kitchen counters, desks, cabinets. This makes the whole place smell extra fresh! Just change out the dryer sheets every month or so when the smell starts to fade!
Another great way to keep your apartment clean for less is a stove top solution. Heat up 3 cups of water on the stove, add whole cloves, cinnamon sticks or orange wedges to the hot water and heat for 30 mins. You can heat this mixture up every so often for a great natural scent!
What's better than smelling fresh baked goods? You could always throw in a batch of cookies or brownies for that great sweet smell! Make sure you don't burn them!

Kansas City Winter

It can get pretty cold this time of the year in Kansas City, but don't fear it! Embrace it! There are plenty of things to do in Kansas City even this time of the year.
1. A local favorite is ice skating! Crown Center Ice Terrace is an excellent location or even our own Town Center has a smaller ice rink!
2. Head north to Weston, Mo for Snow Creek. You can skii, snowboard or even tube down the mountain. Fun for the whole family and they have excellent hot cocoa!
3. Spend the night at the Kansas City Zoo with Nikita the polar bear.
4. Take your sled to Sucide Hill in Brookside, MO off 53rd and Brookside Blvd. Bundle up and get your brave pants on!
5. Visit the Museums! Nelson-Atkins, Kemper, and Wonderscope are some of the favorites! (And they are warm!!)
Stay safe out there! Spring is just around the corner!
