Struggling with a New Year’s resolution for this year or maybe the one you picked already isn’t working out. Here are some ideas for you!
Getting fit, losing weight, and joining a gym are without a doubt the biggest, most widely known, most popular resolutions of the new year. However, if you think about it gym membership enrollments are the highest this time of the year yet by may almost never used! Buy yourself a game console that makes you get up and move. Not only will you be working out but it serves a double purpose to entertain your guests! You would be surprised at what a sweat you will work up playing. You are also saving money in the long run!
Try using your cell phone less this year. We have all become completely dependent on our electronic devices! You would be surprised at how much you are missing when you stop to look around once in a while!
Try eating healthier by cooking at home. This will help save you money and help with the losing weight goal. You might even pick up on a few new skills cooking which makes it all the more fun!
Book of the month is a great way to open your mind to new worlds! When is the last time you sat down and actually got lost in a good book?? (I highly recommend The Hunger Games series, I promise you won’t be disappointed!) E-readers are all the new rage this year and they are soo much fun!
Try saving money and set a goal for something you have been wanting for a long time! It will be easier to save when you know you’re saving for something you actually want!
Sending a random letter to a random person is a great way to feel good about yourself about making someone else feel good! Think about a bad day you have had recently, what if you had received a random letter of encouragement? Don’t tell me this wouldn’t have made you feel a little better.
Gossiping. Try not doing it and don’t let others do it to you. You will notice a lot of the drama will be reduced.
Get organized. You know what this means.
Enjoy life to the fullest! Start a bucket list, life is short and you want to make sure you do everything you have ever wanted to do!
Quit a habit. It’s never too late to stop!
