Three Things to Do on Your Vacation To Palm Beach

Visit the beach
You can never spend too much time at the beach, especially in Florida. Pick a beach any beach and just relax while you take in the sun. The water is amazing at around 79 degrees at most beaches and is very blue! A couple of my favorite are Juno Beach with it’s amazing body surfing waves and Deerfield Beach with a much calmer almost serene tide.

Shopping & Dining
Visit all the local shops, whether shopping for souvenirs or just looking for something cute to wear. Florida has everything from classic souvenir shops like Wings to Rodeo drive style shopping at City Place in Palm Beach. If your on a family trip with the kids, visit Sloan’s candy shop in City Place, definitely one of the greatest candy shops I’ve every seen! While you are there grab me a bag of goodies.

Enjoy the night life
With roof top bars and dance floors, playing all the greatest new music and the classics too! Try the Blue Martini Bar, known for it’s amazing Blue Martinis! This place is amazing even on Sunday's. Don’t hesitate to try the lower key bars either as even they have a great atmosphere. Everyone seems to have the right idea or the same idea of just taking it all in and having a great time. I was amazed at how much fun everyone was having simultaneously without stepping on anyone’s toes or being overly aggressive!

Who Knew 3D Would Be So Fun!

On a recent outing to dinner and a movie with a group of friends we opted to take the full moving goers experience. We saw Thor in 3D. It was such a great time. There were parts of the movie that it seemed like it was snowing right in the movie theater. It was so awesome. I actually had no clue what the movie was going to be about. It ended up being a good "comic book" movie.

Now this wasn't my first 3D movie. I believe my first would have to be Final Destination 3 in 3D. That was a hilarious movie, since the special effects are so overdone. Within the first 30 seconds of the movie I spilled my drink on the floor. I was at AMC Main Street, in downtown Kansas City, and the seats even vibrated. This was also the first time I had ever been to the newly renovated theater. From the seats vibrating at just the right time and the roller coasters and explosions coming right out of the screen, it was worth the price of admission.

Everytime I go see a movie now, I always look for the 3D option. For the extra few bucks it make the whole experience a great time. So, the next time you are debating a movie night, check out your 3D option too!
